40 Acres
40 Acres: On a farm in the middle of nowhere, the Freemans are surviving—even thriving—after a slew of plagues and wars have left society in ruins, provided they can fend off the occasional raiding party. After teaching their kids to fight (and, yes, murder), former soldier Hailey (Danielle Deadwyler) and her companion Galen (Michael Greyeyes) left the collapse with their kids. However, Emanuel (Kataem O’Connor), Hailey’s oldest child, is now a young man, and his craving for human interaction could endanger the entire family when he encounters a young woman (Milcania Diaz-Rojas) in the forest outside the fence.
Michael Greyeyes, Danielle Deadwyler, R.T. Thorne, Kataem O’Connor, and Milcania Diaz-Rojas.
